Last updated: June 6, 2026
Ilays Solutions ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, how we use and share it, and the rights you have. We act as the data controller for personal data processed through our website and Services, and as a data processor for personal data you ask us to host or process on your behalf.
We comply with the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019 and, where it applies to you, the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Information we collect
- Information you give us: name, email, phone, company, country and message when you contact us, request a quote, sign up as an agent, or become a client.

- Usage & device data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed and similar analytics collected via cookies and our telemetry (see our Cookie Policy).
- Client website data: where we host or maintain your site, we may process data your own users submit to it, strictly on your instructions.
2. How we use your information
- To provide, operate, maintain and secure our Services.
- To respond to enquiries, prepare quotes and manage your account.

- To monitor uptime and security, prevent fraud, and improve our Services.
- To comply with legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.
3. Legal basis for processing
We rely on one or more of the following: performance of a contract with you; your consent; our legitimate interests in running and improving our business; and compliance with legal obligations. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
4. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us run our Services, under appropriate safeguards, including:
- Hosting & infrastructure: Hostinger.
- Payments: Paystack and Stripe.
- Email delivery: our transactional email provider.
- Where required by law, to regulators, courts or authorities.
5. International transfers
Some of our providers may process data outside Kenya. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is protected by appropriate safeguards in line with applicable data-protection law.
6. Data retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described, to provide the Services, and to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. When no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymise it.
7. Security
We use technical and organisational measures including encryption in transit, access controls, monitoring and regular backups. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work hard to protect your data and to respond promptly to any incident.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, correct, update, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. You may also lodge a complaint with the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (Kenya) or your local regulator. To exercise any right, contact us using the details below.
9. Children
Our Services are not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us so we can remove it.
